GOALER (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the GOALER platform at goalerapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains the collection, usage, and protection of personal information when using the platform.

Phone number — account verification, login, game invitations, notifications.
Email address — account communications, receipts, platform updates.
Name — identification within communities and player card display.
Position and game statistics — goals, assists, wins, losses, ratings, performance data.
Community membership — joined communities.
Highlight videos — game footage uploaded by community administrators.

3. How we use your information

Verify identity and enable login via one-time verification codes.
Send game invitations from joined communities.
Send game-day notifications (schedule reminders, team assignments, results).
Display performance statistics on your player card.
Maintain community standings and leaderboards.
Improve the platform and user experience.

4. SMS messaging

By entering your phone number, you consent to receive one-time verification codes, game invitations, and game-day notifications. Message frequency varies by community activity. Standard rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out anytime or HELP for assistance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Limited sharing occurs with community administrators, service providers (Twilio, Supabase), or when legally required.

6. Data security

Reasonable security measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row-Level Security, and secure authentication protocols.

7. Data retention

Information is retained while your account is active. Request account deletion at roei@goalerapp.com.

8. Children’s privacy

The platform is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

Updates posted on the platform notify users of material changes.
